Official Avengers Tread ere

However, was there something wrong with the projector in my cinema? Didn't fill the wide screen and, watching in 3D, really took some effort to get comfortable watching in a small area of the screen - I want it to fill my vision.

The film was shot in 1.85:1 ratio to best capture the emphasis on height differences between characters and make the battle in manhattan look good with all the tall buildings etc

Excellent film, watched it in 2D and now want to see in 3D, worth the extra cost anyone?

Knew Hulk would be my favourite before it even started and without seeing the latest Hulk film on its own :D

Thankfully watched Thor the night before and Captain American a few nights before that, so had some good back story already to the characters :)

I saw this the other day - I thought it was surprisingly good. Definitely a cut above the other super-hero movies (with the possible exception of The Dark Knight, although they are very different in style).

Also, I absolutely cracked up when

Loki called Black Widow a "mewling quim"

... though I was the only one in the cinema laughing at that point. I just couldn't believe it - I don't think I've ever heard that word used in a film before, and certainly not a Hollywood blockbuster. It was just so unexpected and out of place I couldn't help but laugh. Then again, I do have a fairly purile sense of humour...

It isn't a swear word so far as I'm aware  Just a very British word, and was used in quite an unexpected way. The last thing you expect to hear in an American superhero movie...

Saw this and it was excellent!

One thing I didn't notice was Stan Lee's cameo appearance. I assumed he was in all the marvel films in passing and usually stands out from the crowds?

Did anyone spot him?

Playing chess in the park at the end, says something along the lines of

"superheroes in new york, nonsense"...i'm paraphrasing though!

Hawkeye - shoots different arrows all over the shop and can fly with arrows.
Black Widow - Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Hulk - SMASH.
Thor - I'm am your flying hammer god with lightening.
Iron Man - Downy Junior in a flying suit with guns and energy power.

And Captain America - I'm serious and have a shield to throw and can punch.

Pick the odd one out :)

Black Widow and Captain America are the weakest players, HOWEVER, Captain America is good at giving orders. Without him, The Avengers would basically do whatever they wanted.

Agreed, he give leadership and authority.
Black Widow didn't seem to have anything to offer, or am I missing something?
