Official Avengers Tread ere

Grrrr. I hate women being shoved into a movie, just to satisfy the groins of young males (not that they will ever get to have sex with her...but there you go).

But you are right. The Transformers movies proved that adding a bimbo in the mix (who has no role within the movie), sells tickets.

Somebody has to tap it, like winning the lottery.. it might be me!

I've just spunked £36 to take the wife and step son to see this tomorrow.

When the **** did it start costing £36 for three people to go to the pictures?

LOL.
I believe she has now spit with Ryan Reynolds and might be available.
So, you chances are definitely higher now, than they were a few years back.

It is getting very expensive to goto the cinema. Add some popcorn and you are looking at anywhere from £10 - £20 per person.

Pseudo was telling me about DBox. In London, if you go for the DBox experience, you are looking at around £16/person. Add popcorn/food/drinks and you could be looking at around £25/person.

The cinema experience is definitely getting expensive.

I'd hardly say she was just shoved into the movie.

She was a weaker player.
If we took her completely out of the movie, it wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome.

Iron Man, Thor and Hulk are the big hitters, with Captain America leading the team and organising them.

In the end, they had to give Back Widow something to do - namely shoving a staff into the artifact (I can't remember what the name of it is).

It's not about power, otherwise why bother having hawkeye as well? She works for SHIELD and is in some ways a handler for the more powerful but less reliable heroes.

Black Widow and Captain America are the weakest players, HOWEVER, Captain America is good at giving orders. Without him, The Avengers would basically do whatever they wanted.

Having gone with my gf to see it last weekend and enjoyed it a lot. As we were discussing the fact that they seemed to give everyone a reasonably balanced part to the team, she said at the end that according to the comics, The Hulk is stronger than Thor.

Black Widow was a prominent member of the Avengers in the comics.

The joy of 3D movies cost more. Though a cinema near me knock a pound off the price if you bring your 3D glasses from a previous film you saw.

Home cinema is the future, then again, it'll take loads of cheap DVDs to even break even for me.

I tend to only go for the big action movies now, save the rest to enjoy at home.

The problem with Home Cinema is that you have to wait about 3-6 months for the Cinematic run to end, before you can watch it at home.

You are paying for the privilege of watching a movie, about 6 months before it can be bought in the shop, to view at home.

Surely it's possible for films to be released at the same time as in the cinemas through online streaming/rental services, which are so common nowadays.

I can see things going completely in the home cinema direction, with the big cinemas becoming obsolete given enough time.

Although, i imagine that would make piracy even easier to achieve.

I believe that for most movies, most of their money is made at the Cinema. What incentive do movie making companies have, to start releasing their big budget movies for home viewing, on release date?
