Moving house - best place to get boxes?

Hi all, moving house at end of month and wondered where the best place is to buy some decent quality boxes. Supermarkets are not that great so I'd rather buy some. Anyone recommend anywhere? Thanks

Try your local self store place - they normally sell them as well as other packing materials.

Search: cardboard boxes & your area.

Should bring up packaging companies who sell boxes of all sizes, plus some firms sell 2nd hand boxes as well.

That's how I got mine for moving.

Go ask local newsagents, supermarket,fast food outlets they should be happy to get rid of boxes.

Your local library should have loads sitting around. You could ask if they have any spare.

Try a packaging company, usually have them.

North British Tapes, Samuel Grant, Coastline are all in the North East.

get down to your local greggs, they have great boxes for moving, that the baguetts come in par baked.

Ask inside local electrical stores and supermarkets. They get charged to get rid of them as they must be recycled so they are more than willing to give them away.

try a supermarket, i work at tesco

and we occasionaly get people coming in asking for boxes, everything gets delivered in massive boxes and they rather give them away than the hassle of recycling them all
