Firefox, things look better than Chrome but it's not as fast. Chrome does feel a lot snappier and I use it as my back up browser.

For my phone since I'm stuck on Gingerbread I can't use the Chrome app, so am using Dolphin which I love :).

Chose Safari, Chrome & Firefox - They are the three best browsers in my opinion... I won't touch Internet Explorer anymore :p

I'm still on Firefox 3.6.13 because it is the one I prefer and I made some plugins that don't work with later versions.
The latest version of Firefox is awful.

I've been using Opera since the days when they had that ad bar although I also use Chrome when some things don't work as they should in Opera. It's much better now these days however and I find it's the best looking. A simple clean look with great speed and functionality. I don't use IE or FF unless it's the only option I have (at uni etc.).

The last part is a very valid point, I did (don't play it anymore) use Chrome whenever I played BF3 due to all sorts of problems with IE.

I used IE9 for the opposite reason, my house-mate couldn't get it to work with Chrome for about a month or so after it was released.

Battlelog works fine in IE9, absolutely not a single fault.

That's the only use IE9 gets for me though. Waterfox for everything else.

IE9 for letting others browse on my PC or just opening a quick browser (as my Firefox is loaded with tabs :D)

TBH adblock is the main reason I use Firefox, and the Google toolbar (although that isn't supported on Firefox anymore).

If Opera or Chrome had Adblock then I'd move over as they're pretty quick.

I'm a web developer, so I use pretty much all. Simply put I use multiple for testing and also what I am doing.

In order:

Chrome - for general browsing and use (speed & JavaScript debug).
Firefox - for debugging.
IE 9 - just to check sites, don't believe it's a bad browser.
IE 8 - just to check sites. Not a great browser for speed or ease of development.
IE 7 - just to check sites. Not cool.
IE 6 - just for curiosity, don't care about this, even MS dropped support for it.
Opera - just for checking, helps with the odd debug. Believe this is a solid browser.

Chrome. Every time....

I have installed:
Chrome
Firefox
Opera
IE

I only really use chrome though... The others are there to experiment with occasionally.

It feels smoother, nicer, and generally better.

I also use Android on my phone, and safari on my iPad...

Although, technically speaking the phone version I use is actually HTC's Sense browser which seems better than the Chrome Beta on ICS....

Opera user here and its served me well.

But it does have its annoyances. It just refuses to work on some sites and in small niggling ways. For example it will load a site but any buttons on the page wont work. For example on CBS news I cant expand the + sign to read comments in Opera. Clicking on the + near the word COMMENTS to expand them does nothing.

But in IE and Chrome it works fine.

So I use Opera for 99% of the time with Chrome as backup. Opera has handy right-click options: <<Open with Chrome>>, <<Open with IE>>.

I keep thinking I would like to move to another browser but Im so used to Opera and know it so well that im totally tied to it.

Right...

..but you just said...

How do you know that if you "never tried chrome yet" to make the comparison? Or have you used it and are ...what... you tried chrome, you never tried chrome, you prefer chrome but don't/never use(d) chrome? *head explodes*

*head explodes also*

Sky Go works fine on Chrome

Chrome for me :p

IE is just a pain in the ass, in my opinion. Older versions of it hold back websites because it can't do anything with them, and newer versions are just eclipsed by Chrome and FF. It's really no contest.

I've heard it referred to as "Microsoft Google Chrome Downloader 9" before. That should give you a hint :P

I can't get on with Chrome at all, but Firefox rapes the computer of resources these days compared to the past, and I'd probably go as far to say it's not as immune as it used to be. Years ago it was immune because it was incapable, but as they have increased what it can do it seems to be able to be attacked by malicious sites. I also hate the way they keep changing the layout, tab order and the menu places, but I'm locked in because of the add-ons I use.

Bring back Netscape :(
