Looks weird, no man hole covers or anything, but if you pause it before he slides, the car is bouncing? Did he try to boot it and it went wrong somehow?
He hits a bump, you see the car bounce slightly (If you look at the van behind, you can see it's front hit the bump too just afterwards). I guess it unsettled it just enough in damp greasy looking conditions, possibly it panicked him and he over reacted to it?
Looks simply like a mix of rain/wet roads and too much acceleration.
Something very similar happened to me years ago in my M3 - I was driving in town along a straight dual carriageway (30-40mph) and came to a very slight righthand bend. There was light rain but grip had been good up to that point. The road ahead was clear, when gentlly accelerating the back suddenly stepped out and swung 180 degress before the grip came back and the car righted itself. That was a brown trouser moment for both me, my gf and the chap in the lane next to me who was looking at my headlights at one point.
Little bump in the road unsettles the car then I reckon there's Derv on the road that helps the slide plus the guy doesn't get off the gas quick enough.
Probably jumped on the throttle as well, like others have said. I've seen others do similar (i.e. start to spin, easily recoverable, yet have pinned the throttle instead).
I don't think theres a bump in the road, as you can't see any of the other cars bounce as they go over it, and with the suspension being quite hard on the 1m, you would notice it least on that. The car juddering looks like a gear change and them him flooring it. You can see him move away from the van quite quickly for a split second just before it spins.
You can see the back of the car hop when he hits the bump @ 1 min 4 seconds & if you watch carefully he just changes direction to the left as it happens.
Dip in road car bumps and in rebound the rear has gone light, this combined with a bit of throttle (guessing here) will result on that especially if it's on ****/worn tyres.
It's possible it's just started raining and those bumps he goes have a habit of making oil drips on cars drip off in the same place. Water here with the oil is a bad combination.
