BMW 1M crash

Easy answer, hot geisha girl just finished him off and his third leg resulted in burrying the throttle. Lucky git.

What a plonker. Lovely car mind;) The car clearly starts to accelerate before the back end comes out, and then he doesn't seem to know what to do with it.

I'm not sure he did boot it. If you watch the van's front wheels at 1:04, you can see them move upwards towards the arch as though he went over the same bump that the BMW driver did.

Also, if the back end did squat as he put his foot down, I would have expected it to have shown some serious increase in pace. It didn't look like the car started accelerating to me.

just before he got to the dip he hits the gas as the back dips, i'm not sure but the wheels could be spinning as he gets to the dip which sends him off into the spin. but this is just a guess.

One second before he starts to slide he starts to accelerate, hence the car squats and looks like it goes over a bump, then some turbo lag then wheel spin etc..

This exactly. You can see it squat when he guns it and it picks up pace. Definite bump in the road timed just right (or wrong depending on your point of view) with the squat/rebound to help upset the car, but in those conditions the throttle abuse and direction change could have been enough on their own. Driver is a tool.

These engines don't have that much turbo lag. It looks to me like it hit the road surface change. Ignore other cars they aren't as stiff

It starts to slide a bit but then the rear right wheel hits the painted arrows on the road so it's game over as that point.

It's more likely that he actually lifted off when the car hit the bump, that's the sort of thing that happens at the limit if traction on a rear drive.

This didn't actually happen and is all CGI, everyone knows the internet has disproved the myth that RWD cars can be a handful if you are being a bit of a prune. They are no more likely to have an incident than an FWD Focus which of course wouldn't have done that therefore the video is obviously fake.

Being a bit of a prune is key here though isn't it. This simply will not happen cruising at 30-40mph, nor will it happen by lifting off the gas going over a minor bump. He was flooring the gas, definitely.
I also can't believe that this could happen with DSC active, I'd wager he had it switched off.
