The thread is getting replies because

1. You recommended varnish to remove whine
2. You struggle with BSOD screens, yet give advice about removing coil whine
3. You struggle with BSOD and entering a Bios, Yet give advice about removing coil whine.
 
what is on Rolf's sholder... it's the same animal as the photo you posted up of me before i got suspended, plus today too.... why did you think i mentioned rolf harris just now

I figured out how to enter my bios at age 16 and overclocked my Athlon 1400 to 1500 Mhz.

But some guy who claims to have been working in computer repair for so long can't?

Isn't he also sending his PC to a shop to get it overclocked? Like how is he even knowledgable enough to know anything about coil whine?

All the years of painting PCB's with ronseal has rotted his brain away to nothing and now OCuk forums suffer his rantings, joyful.

I take pictures when I buy a new mouse or fan and he doesn't take any of painted PCBs?
 
what you have to ask yourself is, is varnishing the pc board true, and does this actually kill coil Whine and have i done this before as a solderer years ago.

because on google, they use Nail polish dont they

i worked at Fisher instuments in lymington....

the address is in the contact area.... Lymington, here i varnished pc boards about 15 years ago, i did it for about a year, two to three coats, the varnish is used to keep the damp out, and to stop the circuit board from short circuiting

as you say, i'm either teasing you or telling you the thuth, it's both, but i wouldn't do it myself due to the guarantee.

No hinting at competitor prices!

oh dear now you think i'm lieing about my card too, well there's the sales invoice and i'll get the photos of it as well, the price above includes postage as well, this thread is starting to turn a bit nasty now, because you're now accusing me of lieing as well.
