Intel to launch Haswell in March 2013

The timings spot on for me, i change sockets every other year if theres some thing worth buying into, & March 2013 puts my SB at the 2 year old mark.
 
How is this only just being posted here when the news was released over 7 weeks ago?

Will not be getting it anyway :p
 
Haswell was always going to be passed up by me anyway. Early adapters of new archiecture are welocme to it plus i don't see my 3930 being rendered obsolete in real world terms.

Retailers don't shift huge amounts of stock compared to the bulk box shifters, so once the fabs have ceased production & the chips gone EOL, it doesn't take long for stock to go into constraint.

Oh I don't mean why are you posting this now, I mean how has it taken so long for someone to post it?! Would expect someone to have said something already really :p
 
Last i saw haswell is still quad core and as well as an ipc improvement it will no doubt also bring an improvement in igp as well but how big a performance gain is anyone's guess at the minute.
