Black Rad paint?

Hi all,

Very basic- Couple of rads i have for my project in sig are visibly rusty from certain angles so i just thought i should get some paint to patch them up.

What paint is best for this?

Don't paint rads. Well I'd advise against it. Are you sure they're rusty, and not just copper rads?

The problem with painting a rad would be that it'll compromise the thermal performance of the rad...

is it the fins that are rusty or just the shrouds?

u can paint the shrouds all u want but dont go near the fins.

Sorry for being slow on this. Kinda forgot about it.

I guess maybe they aren't rusty an it is just the fins. Only thing is they are mostly black but some parts from certain angles are very brown/rust coloured.
