Troll? You sir are an idiot and frankly more then likely bad at the game. I'm a troll because I'm stating the truth? A few months ago I played on a friends account around 150games at 1000 elo and it's no where near what you're describing. You idiot.

So you made a very bland statement without actually saying anything valuable, especially after asking someone to level your account for you. Now you're name calling. But you're not a troll? If you say so.

I don't know what EUW games are like, as I said I've only done ranked games on the US servers, but I'm neither lying nor an idiot. There's a lot of AFKs and stupid team comps. I never said I was that ELO because of that, I said I'm stuck with those players because I had a losing streak (which can happen to anyone) and I don't play my US account any more.

You're clearly baiting for an argument and I'm not interested, thanks.

EJ: If you played 150 games on 1000 elo and don't know what ELO hell is then I have to debate whether you are being truthful at all :)

Elo hell doesn't exist >.>

From my ranked experiences the games at 1100 to 1300 are the easiest because everyone is so bad that you can carry easily.

It's the entry point for ranked as well so you could have good experiences or you could have bad - you have no way of guaranteeing, its not just because people are going to be bad. Also depends on your main char - as support you'd have to be amazing to carry :)

ELO Hell in my experience isn't so much that you lose every game because everyone else sucks (people who say that are making excuses, as already said, the law of averages even out after a while so you get sucky teammates and enemies), it's more how unpredictable people are and the lack of control over the game. If everyone there was average skilled, it'd often be carryable but some people are just rubbish and you can't do anything, same as sometimes even if you're playing badly you end up fed because someone on the other team is bad.

Well actually there is some argument towards the 11-1300 range being an absolute terror to play in. After all, if you belong in that skill band you are constantly bombarded by new players of every skill level and it leads to an extremely volatile game state. I know plenty of people that were holding 1200~ and let themselves drop to 1000 simply because the games were far more enjoyable, since everyone there generally belonged there and the games had less ****e going on.

Sure "Elo Hell" doesn't exist in the way it is used today and I find the people who go on about it hilarious, but that doesn't change the fact above which is where the term generally originated from.

I think we all talk at cross purposes, my definition of ELO hell is playing a ranked game where the experience doesn't correspond to my play level due to other factors outside of my control.

That said I do need to play more ranked games but I struggle due to the lack of in game age restrictions :)

I wouldn't call him OP for sure. He is fun to play and I look forward to playing more games on him but I think he is quite well balanced for the most part. I need more games with him to make a better decision to be fair!

Played some customs with him, trying AD and AP builds.

Took me a while to get the hang of his mechanics, but certainly did better with AD. Looks like running AS and AP and making the most of blight could be devastating, but requires more skill than standard AD pew-pew.

I thought the AP scaling on his W was poor, or am I completely wrong?

I think Varus is acuallly pretty balanced. He's a strong champ, but not to the point of being OP. He has a decent poke (good range and damage, though avoidable) and decent cc.

Pretty much my thoughts to. His range is rather good on auto attacks and his Q is pretty devastating (early game its brutal) but he has no escapes and as you said attacks are avoidable so he balances out nicely IMO.

I found him quite useful, played about 5 games with him as solo mid in normals and won the lane everytime. He has very nice range and poke and his ulti combo is great for teamfights.

Did you find his ulti bugged at all, a few times yesterday for me and a friend it would combo onto other champs.
