More of a heads up than anything (I couldn't see another topic about it).
I updated to 12.4 last week, and ever since, I was having issues, where all screens would suddenly go blank (showing no signal) and the only way to get the back (that I found) was to restart.
I was worried it might have been my gfx card being unstable, so I returned to stock settings, but still the same. I then decided to install the old drivers again, which seems to have fixed the issue.
As I said, more of a heads up for anyone else who is having the same issues, it could be worth trying.
I have a 6950, with a 2500k on W7.
Go into power settings in control panel, and change so PC don't enter sleep or switch off display. Thats what I always use.
Yeah thanks for that. Glad there's forums like this so I don't think it's just my PC playing up.
Will stop monitor and also Pc from going into sleep in settings until there is a fix.
One more thing when I'm at desktop or browsing Internet if I have my new Samsung monitor set to 120hz I get an occasional flicker/screen tear a bit like when you haven't enabled vsync in some games.
Am I alone on this one or is this also known bug in 12.4??
12.4=3 random BSODs in win 7 64 bit within 24hrs. back to 12.3
