I use mix amp with a40s, no special settings in the games and I hear everything correctly, not played battlefield with them though.
 
I sorted it out in the end, it was just an options in the x-fi sound options, I had the surround set to stereo surround and then when I switched it to stereo expand it now works perfectly.

Cheers anyways.
 
Will try the server when Im back home at the weekend, not a fan of hardcore though - no-one can see me tea bagging them cause theres no kill-cam...
 
Hopefully it's well admin'd, don't normally touch HC as you just get fags team killing to get the chopper etc...
 
Got MrLOL and another mate as admin could do with couple more incase we're not on, can change it to normal at a later date if demand for it is hi

because people can hide without getting spotted and people die so quickly it usually turns into a massive camp a thon.

Aye, first time I've played hardcore too, the whole dying quickly business makes those shotguns lethal, doesn't it?

I might be on in a little while if anyone else is about.

Don't think its a good idea if people change things purely on their own choice. I'll ask a friendly mod if we can have a poll :)
 
I got sniped half way across a map... by an 870MC running a rifle scope and I think it was a flechette shell, ridiculous.

Haha, thats excellent. Have done it once or twice myself, well worth trying though with slugs I find best.

Slugs are powerful, it's not a glitch or a bug. Just some people have realised that you can slap a scope on the shotty and get some distance.

Haha I was kinda just grumping rather than complaining, the lack of recoil is a bit odd I must say, gonna give that a go if I can find a server where I'm allowed to use a shotgun :rolleyes:
 
Yeah, shotguns are being hated at the moment. On one hand I can understand why, they can ruin a game but then thats the same as overuse of any weapon by lots of people in a game.
On the other hand, shotguns are great (pump action ones at least, none of this auto / semi auto shotty rubbish! lol)
