He said this while demonstrating Unreal 4 Engine on a new Kepler... in a PC obviously! So according to this guy if you want the cutting edge of graphical power buy yourself a 360 or PS3.

I know what this forum would think so there is no point discussing this particular quote, so instead lets discuss :-

It's Epics model that's to blame here, take steams platform or origin, I can safely say there is much much less piracy due to this, if they didn't make such **** games and a decent one that people want to buy, they may have had a point.

Good Grief.... my GPU is 3 years mid range out of date, in today's standards its (entry level) DX-11 Full 1080P HD gaming,- and will absolutely monster the AMD 6670 based APU that will be in the PS4 and xBox720!!!!!

Now take a wild guess at what it will do to the IMB / Athlon x3 CPU and ATI 19## series GPU that's in the 360.....

I play on BF3 (Xbox360) when i go to see my sister, i also have it on my Desktop, they do not compare, the shortest description i can give you is [absolutely horrible]

Er, that's incorrect. Epic are making PC games as well as advancing their engine in that area.

Also incorrect. It's about using resources as best as they can and having to adapt with the various degrees of hardware isn't ideal and not really worth the investment for them at this time.

Think when he says this he is speaking in regards to the console family.

PS3 /X360 > Wii > PSP > iPad etc ect

PCs are dynamic and will always be the best and i'm sure hes well aware.
