Hi

I have my phone insured with barclays, it comes with their current account plus.

I dropped my galaxy s2 yesterday and cracked the screen and scratched the silver bezel.

Has anyone had experience with barclays phone insurance? Just wondering if they will repair the phone or send out a replacement handset? The screen seems like a very expensive part!

Thanks

I'll be interested to see how you get on as I'm gona register two 7.7s a Note and an ace with barclays 2mo, they were very good replacing a tv for me a few years ago but thst was on propper house hold ins.

Well I should be sending it off tommorow so I will keep you posted. I only asked as my phone was perfect before the drop, but now it has little scuffs all over. Hopefully they will repair all of the damage and not just the obvious screen and bezel.

When I say drop, it fell out my pocket as I got in my car and I slammed the door on it then it hit the kerb :(

I'm with Barlcays and did the same a few weeks ago to my S2. The turn around was around 3 weeks from first notifying them to receiving it back. They jsut replaced the sceen on mine rather than the entire phone.

When I was with Barclays this insurance didn't include smart phones lol

Had exactly the same issue, back in 2005 I insured my phone using their drop down list to select and confirm the handset and got confirmation through this was fine. When I came to claim they then quoted smallprint and refused to pay out.

:o that is shocking, how can they get away with that? Miss selling surely

I hope you're right, about 3 hours ago I used barclays to insure my Note and 1 of the 7.7s they wouldn't let me do the other because you're only allowed to insure £500 of gadgets.

I'll look up a propper insurers fee for insuring them all.
