To not like Israel is to not like Jews

Is this is a misconception? I have heard arguments stating post WW2 Israel was founded for the Jewish people. Therefore to not like Israel is to not like Jews.

Do you agree?

For the record I am impartial to Israel.

It makes no sense at all. You can dislike Israel because of their foreign policy, their internal policy, or whatever. Jewish people don't all think like Israel's foreign policy, and Israel foreign policy does not talk for all Jews.

Basically, whoever told you that if you hate Israel then you hate Jews is an idiot.

I tend not to categorise a person based on their ethnic background. I'd judge the individual, not the nation.

Indeed, Jews come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I know quite a few Jews and I like some and dislike others. I don't make a decision based on them being Jewish. None of them are Israeli. Not all of them were even born Jewish.

I am not sure how much clearer I can make it? You can dislike the actions of the state of Israel without blaming all Jews for those actions.

I'm not a fan of Israel but I'm very much pro Jewish (whatever that means) and I'm not a fan of Palestine but very much pro Palestinian.

I just hate the over zealous murdering ***** on both sides as its always the innocent normal every day people who suffer.
