It most certainly was not by choice though... rather that my dad (Yorkshire born and bred) lived by the moto if you didn't 'need' it you didn't get it!
It massively sucked!!! Remember playing Ghostbusters 2 and it was hard to make out 90% of what was going on!!!
Remember the day I got my NES - think I may have cried a little when the Super Mario 3 start screen appeared in glorious colour!!!
