I got my new monitor today and am unable to use 120hz. I have the BenQ 24XL10T and it worked in 120hz perfectly. I have installed all the software provided and still can't get 120hz. :( Cheers.

Are you using the dual link DVI cable that came with the monitor?
Is your GPU set to do dual link display as I know with AMD cards they may need the bios switching over.

Im using the same cable that I used with my BenQ and I am using a AMD 6950 so I don't think thats the problem :(

Got it working :D Doesn't seem to like that cable but the BenQ does which is odd.

I bought a 5m dual link DVI cable (due to the room layout and PC location) from the rainforest shop but this didn't work, something was displayed but it was totally corrupt. Go back to the supplied cable again and all is good (except the PC is not where I want it).

My problem now too

May I ask why you switched to the S23A700D from the BenQ 24XL10T? I tried the S23A700D but felt too small for me, just curious anyway. :)

How can 23" be too small for a monitor? Remember the days of 15-17" CRT/TFTs?

I needed glasses after using my 26" tv for my PC for over a year!

Yeah around 1999 I was playing EverQuest on a 17" Iiyama Visonmaster 450.

I previously had a Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP 24" @ 1920x1200 and then moved to a NEC 24WMGX3 24"@ 1920x1200, so a good 5+ years at these resolution displays.

The Samsung S23A700D 23" @ 1920x1080 I thought woudn't be much different but I have lost a good 1.5" in height, it may not seem much but to me it really is, the screen feels like I'm using my 19” Viewsonic VP191b again - total backward step.

Also this screen isn't fully compatable with Nvidia Cards unless you hack old drivers when gaming in 3D although I may not of used it, Tridef more for AMD/ATI cards, I should have done more research.
