480 SLI to 670...

Ofc, the alternative is to wait for GK110 towards the end of the year - sure, the 480s will have depreciated in value, but there is more performance to be had at the same price point as a current 680.

I personally don't think we'll see GK110 this year, unless AMD release their next gens relatively early.

Nvidia are dominating the enthusiast market; they have no reason to release another card

+1 and I beg NVIDIA to hold off till next year for GK110 for the sake of my wallet :p

I WAS GOING TO DO THE SAME THING BUT NOT SURE NOW,I THOUGHT THE GTX670 WHEN OC WOULD BE ON PAR WITH MY GTX480,MAYBE THE REVIEW I READ WAS WRONG/REAL SHAME

I would be tempted to go 670 2GB and O/C :-) Something like a KFA2, nice decent cooler and quiet.

Yes more expensive, but games should be more fluid with the single card and the 500MB memory 'might' be beneficial depending on this monitor. (Yes I realise this is contentious).

How will games be more fluid?
Have you ever run SLI? Games are fluid...
