I don't know if anyone's in the same boat as me, but I may be after a GTX 670 4GB with a real PCB. Let me explain what I mean about that. I want a 4GB 670 which doesn't have that stupid short PCB, a 680's PCB will do just fine for me.

There isn't a single one I can find anywhere on the net. Anyone hear anything, Gibbo care to comment or anyone care to speculate about whether we will see such things?

I didn't really want to clog up the other 670 threads with such a specific question :)

My prediction is that EVGA will be the first with their FTW 670.Currently it's only listed as 2gb on their site, but some people said that there was a 4gb version mentioned earlier

Cleeecooo do you have steam or some sort of instant messaging account I could add you on, you seem very knowledgeable about computers wouldn't mind asking some questions about my new build coming soon or whether to postpone the build

I'm also very tempted by 3 x 4GB 670s. But I suspect I'll be running them on air (at least to start with).
Wish there was more info on them.
I'm not too worried about the short PCB, but would like a custom cooler and I guess the bigger the card the more room for cooling...

Will they make waterblocks for the longer PCBs? Are they all standard design or do they vary?

I think they vary.

The long PCB versions are likely to be GTX 680 pcbs so there will be blocks for many of those.

EK may do blocks for the current 670s

you need to concentrate more on your bf3 than the size of your graphics card. of course you could get a half height soundcard if its just the size discrepancy you care about.
