pump/waterblock

am i reading this right ?

pump to rad to cpu to gfx to rad to pump

surely res to pump to cpu to gfx to rad to res , would be better ?

the pump and res are a combo

looking at the pic i would check to see if the tube from your outlet isnt kinking from your pump

would it be best to go res > pump > cpu > rad > gfx > rad > res
as you said sounds ok

your bottom rad is putting hot air into the system ? sucking up through ?or blowing up ? not a major prob cause thats probably the coolest part of your loop tho i guess.

your top rad is exiting thru the roof also i gues so that new order would look ok

so normally it will go res feeds pump , pump feeds hottest component first as in cpu . then gfx. then rad , then res. and around you go . if you want to pop a extra rad in there fine not a problem as it acts as a resevoir also .

i do think it will help if you change it yes.

it may be that your cooling block isnt sitting correctly on the cpu tho also but try the diferent loop first imo unless anyone seees a prob with that...

the bottom 2 fan on the radiator(akasa vipers are intakes, top 2 vipers are exhausting the hot air.i'm going to reseat the cpu block today anyway.

you sure it aint kinking there, looks tight to me

Are you sure that the loop is free of air/air bubbles?

I say this because the res is right at the bottom and the first place you are going is the top of the loop. Might be something to check, maybe run the case on its side for a while.

its possible, i have bounced it off every wall in the house to make sure there was no air left in it, i'll run the case on its side for a few hours see if i've missed any air.

just reseated my cpu block minus the rubber backplate and i'm running prime small fftswill report back in 30mins or so.

...and which fans are you using? If you have fans that are too weak, in a pull configuration vs the radiator, then they will ineffective. Can you feel air moving either side of the radiator with the fans on, for instance?

i'm using akasa vipers, i'm sure the fans are not the problem. pretty much leaning towards buying a bay res and a decent pump.

however any more suggestions would be great.

a bay res would increase the volume of water in the loop, so it'll just take longer to get warmer.

It sounds like you have some sort of constriction in the flow. or that you've got air in the pump and it's not pumping.

Can you definitely confirm that fluid is moving?

my graphics card overclocked never goes above 50c in furmark. if the fluid wasnt moving i guess i would have a problem with that to?

just to confim fluid is moving looks slow to me though, let me get a vid
