Agencies that British people can use just as much as Polish people? We were talking about why British people and Polish people were different to employers, there seemed to be an indication that there was a difference. The example you've given here is what my point was originally - many lazy Brits won't work for a living, while Polish migrants will.

No it wouldn't happen in large companies at all, since they follow all employment legislation to the letter.
But then, most employment is from SME's and generally the type of employment immigrants take is not in corporations.
I see and hear it all the time here in Lincs, since we have the majority of eastern European immigration due to the land work. They work hard and get treated like ****

Many immigrants will work despite their legal rights being undermined or ignored, especially regarding employment rights and statutory working times.......I have seen this happen at local management level in a large company....and I personally had to deal with and halt such practices. There was also a marked decrease in the recruitment of Eastern Europeans when the practice was dealt with......
It isn't about who will work harder, it is about who will work the cheapest and be the most compliant to questionable working practices. Foreign workers can be just as unreliable and lazy as any other.....it is simply easier to contravene their statutory rights as in many cases they do not know they even have any to begin with.
Also many agencies deal with and specialise in obtaining employment for specific nationalities....so no, some agencies are not available to British workers.
That's true, I'll take you and Cheets at your word though if you say it's happening. I do think it's a policing problem rather than immigration though. Edit : I also take Castiel's point. In the first year of employment you have virtually no rights, I would imagine it's easier to bully a migrant than a Brit into not taking their entitlements...
I still think that there are great big parts of British youth who are unemployable, and when migrants take a job they might have taken if they were capable, people should not get up in arms about immigration, they should get up in arms about education and the welfare state.
I don't think you quite understand what the word "instead" means.
The agency I have contact with will hire any EU national as it should, and the majority are British. But due to abuse of loopholes, they don't get sickpay, holidays or redundancy etc.
You'll get over it......given your stated opinions and the reactions to it on a regular basis from other members, I would have thought that you would look at how you elucidate your opinion and what sort of message you are giving to people rather than demanding apologies for those reactions.
Whether you are a racist or not, objectively your posts frequently give that impression so maybe you should look at how you word your posts in future and then there would be less misunderstanding.

I didn't suggest that your opinions were not valid, only that you may want to look at how you word those opinions if you feel that the criticism aimed at you by quite a few members is unfair.
And attacking me doesn't change that, and neither am I confused about what I have said in this thread, you can take my advice or not, but don't be surprised if people continue to see you as a racist. Personally I don't think you are intentionally racist, only that you don't know how to explain your opinion clearly enough and tend to make generalisations that imply a racist agenda. I know that you are not a vile person as some have said, simply because I remember the email you sent me some time ago which I was singularly impressed with.....but I do think you should think a little more about how you construct your posts and what you want to say....it is just a friendly criticism that is all so don't take offense to it.

It's not BS, most of the population believe having things such as Sky are a necessity when they are infact a luxury. They want a large salary to afford these luxury's when they often simply don't have the skills/experience to get jobs that pay that much so instead of getting a lower skilled job they sit at home and complain about a lack of jobs.
All jobs in the UK pay a decent wage because of the minimum wage, the problem is people expect to have luxury's and then complain when they don't have enough money due to living beyond their means.
But back to the original topic, I love how the media make it seem as if every Asian man in this country is involved in sex gangs and they are all preying on our innocent white girls, when really it is just a tiny minority of the Asian population doing this, similar to the tiny minority of the White population that do very similar but aren't given media coverage.
