It's not BS, most of the population believe having things such as Sky are a necessity when they are infact a luxury.
Funny how when accusing someone of BS you then come out with BS statements yourself.
It's oft quoted that 'everyone' has sky, whereas the latest figures I could find shows about 1/3 of households have sky and just under 50% have any form of pay for view TV.
They want a large salary to afford these luxury's when they often simply don't have the skills/experience to get jobs that pay that much so instead of getting a lower skilled job they sit at home and complain about a lack of jobs.
That's very much a sweeping Daily Fail generalisation, though even I probably agree with the sentiment, but what figures are there to actually back it up?
Go back through history and you will find every generation saying the same thing about their younger generation.
And don't forget, the way our children are is only down to the way we as a society have influenced them through their upbringing...
All jobs in the UK pay a decent wage because of the minimum wage, the problem is people expect to have luxury's and then complain when they don't have enough money due to living beyond their means.
Heh, do you actually know what your gross days pay would be for an 8 hour day on minimum wage....£48.64, I don't personally call that a decent wage, then take Tax and NI off that, then travel expenses to get to work, then your rent/mortgage (joke who could afford to buy a house on minimum wage)...it doesn't leave a lot to live on.
Also, we live in a consumer society, our young people are bombarded from an early age by advertising to buy all these useless items, so you can't really blame them (and the rest of us) when we have a distorted view of what is important to have.
I do still fall into the same trap of thinking myself though, we employ apprentices at one place I work, and they do 10 hour days (9+1 hr unpaid lunch) for £2.60 / hour - and with some of them I despair at their lack of knowledge (but not their work ethic) ...and tbh, it's not just a lack of formal knowledge but not knowing things I would expect people to know by just being sentiently aware of ones own surroundings...
Then on the flip side I know some very bright young people and also other very hard working youngesters who have set up their own companies. I couldn't really tell you which are indicative of the whole...
But back to the original topic, I love how the media make it seem as if every Asian man in this country is involved in sex gangs and they are all preying on our innocent white girls, when really it is just a tiny minority of the Asian population doing this, similar to the tiny minority of the White population that do very similar but aren't given media coverage.
This is the whole point and I agree entirely, well obviously using the ironic form of love, meaning hate
