I've just been getting into him recently. So he was possibly a paedo, certainly eccentric and now dead. But was he a genius or not? :D

Musically speaking - Everything upto and including Dangerous was brilliant. Then he lost his way and churned out nothing but rehashed rubbish.

But i don't like him as a man, never did to be honest, always something creepy about him. But i can seperate the music and the man and enjoy his music

He was THE entertainer. There won't be anything like him on stage again.

He was strange and had been made very twisted by his upbringing, but that doesn't detract from his genius.

I saw him twice. He was amazing.

Definitely Genius & I wasn't even into him but that didn't stop me & half the World stand with mouths open when Thriller was first shown on TV. My step Daughter went to see him & said he was even better live.
Just like all the others though he lost it in the end.

Everyone is. If you say you're not, you're lying scum.

:p well I used to be, years ago.

I was asked to be a 'chaperone' to go with my little sister to see him 20 or so years ago on his Dangerous tour. More Fool me 'cos he was ill the 1st time (I think he must've found out I was going to Wembley & bottled it TBH :o)

I ended up losing my little sister outside the stadium & she was in floods of tears afterwards.

Then my mum managed to get a ticket & I ended up being 'chaperone' for the pair of them three weeks later.

Six months later my little sister met her now ex-husband. I wish he'd toured later, it would've saved me the bother, he would've been 'persuaded' to go in my place. ;)

He was a great songwriter and an amazing entertainer. He was great at what he did - Just a shame about his personal life and upbringing :(

A fan.

Best to me when you think of the guy with a smile on his face, just look at the cover on the off the wall album.

In his prime, enjoying it with a smile on his face... the music was brilliant.
