Firstly my setup:

Phenom II 955 BE @ 3.8GHZ Watercooled
MSI 890GXM-G65 board
Crucial 8gb 1333mhz
GTX 680 PNY Enthusiast Edition Watercooled
EK LTX cpu block
EK FC 680 block
3 x 120 Radiators
EK DCP 2.2 pump combo
Samsung 1tb hdd
Seagate Barracuda 1tb hdd
Corsair HX650 Psu

Since i got my waterblock i have been meaning to push this card to it's limits and to be quite honest i'm rather dissappointed somewhat. However i can clarify that putting up the voltage in EVGA's Precision X tool helps! In some miraculous way it helps, no idea how but it does. I put the voltage all the way up to it's limit at 1175mv and started my overclocking tests.

*note before the voltage bump i could only reach +145 Core, any higher and it would crash back to desktop.*

I started on what i knew was good to begin with which was +140 core and +150 memory. The Memory i knew from previous test was at its limit before you start to get minimal gains and loss of performance so i kept it at this level and slowly nudged my core clock up.

TEST 1: +140 Core +150 memory

TEST 2: +150 Core +150 memory

TEST 2: +160 Core +150 memory

TEST 3: +170 Core +150 memory

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

TEST 4: +200 Core +150 memory

As you can see after +170 i got bored and decided to have a go at +200 core and like a dream it got past flawlessly! However i tried +210 and it crashed back to desktop, did the same with memory +160 mem but it also crashed back to desktop :(. So from what i can tell my limits are here at:

+200 Core and + 150 Memory...

Disappointed abit as i thought i could take it higher but maybe if i upgrade my psu from Corsair HX650W to something with a little more juice i may still be able to get higher clocks. Also this was done on an AMD system so it might perform even better on an intel system but who knows!

Final combined 3Dmark11 score 8296 with GPU score sitting at 11191

Post your results here too if you like for comparisons.

Thanks
Jay

You can push that memory a bit harder, I have mine @ +400 Mind you as you have a WC edition maybe you memory is clocked higher, I have mine WC too and I flashed a Zotac bios to mine to get higher base clocks now my memory is +100 as it's already clocked Higher and my GPU boosts to 1202 it can do maybe 20mhz more but really not worth it to me. As I only have 4 phase power on the card I think this will hold back higher clocks.

Any how here's my score

AMD 1055t @ 3.8Ghz 16GB ram, Gigabyte GTX 680 Reference WC aquagrafx GTX 680 Block with Zotac Bios.

Can't even imagine pushing memory at +400 lol, i do recall trying +170 at one point and got past a test but performance dipped and i ended up with a lower score so i know for sure that my memory is at it's limit.

Was the Bios easy to put on? Never flashed a graphics card before so abit sceptical about doing it.

What was your GPU score on it's own? Looking at mine using gpu-z's render test mine boosts to 1297mhz core.

Bios Flash was easy peasy, use nvflash in windows you have to run from command promt as administrator using 'nvflash -4 -5 -6 biosname.rom' you just have to make sure you have the correct bios type and understand what it does once flashed i.e the clock speed etc, I flashed with one that had too agressive boost so I was unstable at load, so reverted to the Zotac Amp edition bios and it's spot on for my card.

My GPU only was 10197

Yea the +400 thing was when I was on stock bios, by default now it's +300 with the Zotac Bios.

This is my GPU-z readout

I see, hmm not sure if it's worth it as i don't want to bork the card while it's still within warranty.

Do you get good performance in games with the +300 memory?

Try upping your core clock for a higher clock. If you can or is willing, see what your core limit is and what score you get.

Cheers

Woah how did you manage such a high gpu score with just +188 core and +451 mem? I see some people with high memory overclocks but lower score than mine. Are you using Virtu MVP?

Yes sir ;)

It is giving me incredible boosts in game (BF3 is all I have tried) and gave me over 2700 in Heaven bench.

My original GPU score was 1200~ on a 206 Boost and 451 mem. Virtu MVP has added 3000 points.

My Core tops out at 1220 ish, which is fine, can go higher but it's unstable. Really annoying as I think with more vcore it would be stable as temps are not an issue even MSI kombuster my top temp was 55 :D

Have you tried upping the voltage in evga precision x? If you haven't yet i suggest you do and bumping it right up to the max value. From there i was able to achieve my scores and overclocking results.
