Caprica... any good?

It's ok. Nice change in pace to see what everything was like pre BSG but it's not groundbreaking or anything.
 
I lost it as soon as I saw the Dell logo on the back of a monitor.

I'd like to say it had a good premise, but I'm really not sure what it was.
 
It had it's moments. But everytime I saw the mother character on screen smoking away i just got irrationally angry! Couldn't stand that character.
 
It was a cash in series that failed hard. It was originally written as a completely different show, but when they saw how popular BSG was becoming the re-worked it to 'fit' into the BSG universe.

It didn't work very well. It did start to get a bit better near the end, but then it got canned anyway so its really not worth watching now.
 
Most folk gave up after the 1st few episodes, the issue with the show was it had a very big name to live up to and with BSG providing explosions and fireworks and non stop action even more harder for another show to compete with.

However caprica in the later on episodes starting too get very good, you notice the acting from these guys is just incredible and they really did well the issue was little too late again, by the end of the season you are left gripping with what happens. On a side note they rounded it off quite well they knew it was canned so sorta showed all the bits in the future which would have been and sorta tied it with what happens in BSG.

I think one of the actors actually said he would still have a job if it was not associated with BSG, and hes right in many ways :)

Still a good drama show that will grip you till the end
