Hi,

A colleague of mine has just informed me he doesn’t iron any of his clothes including his trousers for work as “its not an interview”

It turns out another colleague of mine also doesn’t.

Where do you stand on clothing for work ? Ironed or not.

Personally I think you look like a scruff unless you iron your clothes……

p.s He is also a forum member here.

I don't bother, as long as you hang stuff up after it's been washed then I find things have very few creases.

I work from home though :p

Lived in this house over 16 years & Never ironed a single piece of clothing, Just take it out the washing machine shake it & put it on a hanger, JD. Ironing is a Myth invented by women to cover all the time they spend watching Jeremy Kyle.

How can you not go to work with an ironed shirt? Do you take no pride on yourself whatsoever?

That being said, my girlfriend does mine typically but I frequently pay a local ironing service to do it for me. 10 shirts for £15, not too bad.

This.

I could never go without ironing my clothes...

Dunno the magic washing fairy puts everything back in wardrobe ironed for daily wearing, the only thing that doesn't get ironed is my boxer shorts which reminds me to put that on here PDR for next year

I iron all my own shirts, trousers and some of my nicer t-shirts... thats about it. I have no idea why people refuse to iron themselves or that people complain about having to do it... It's really not that hard!
