If I have an Xbox 360 and PC is there any reason to buy a PS3?

If you don't have a Blu-ray player, and are wanting to play the exclusives (there are some amazing ones, believe me) then there is a reason yeah - at least that's what I did.

Metal Gear Solid 4
Uncharted
InFamous
Killzone
Demon's Souls
Little Big Planet
God of War (and the HD Remakes)
PS One and PS2 classics on the PS Store
So on and so forth (there are a number of series that have been remastered exclusively for the PS3 such as Ico & Shadow of the Colossus which is worth it alone).

Look at the thread about "The Last of Us"

Yes it's more than worth it to have a PS3. I'd say it will be then more of a question of "Now that I have a PC and a PS3, is it worth keeping the xbox 360" Just because many Xbox exclusives are also on the PC.

Yes. I have all three (although I don't game much on the PC these days) and there's plenty of compelling reasons to own each platform.

Out of all of my consoles + PC the PC and PS3 get the most use. So yes, it's worth it. It has the largest collection of great games that are only available on it imo.

Out of all of my consoles + PC, Xbox gets the most use, my PS3 was a dust attractor so I sold it.

I stream HD to my Xbox so I don't need Blu-ray.

Your at an advantage in that you alread pay for online gamin network with your Xbox, once you pay for a ps3 all you have to do is buy games for it, there's no extra cost to enjoy your shiny new console fully. If you dont like it you can always sell it, ps3s hold their value well

It depends how likely you'd be to play the exclusives listed above. Personally I wouldn't advise buying one unless you're likely to play them or use it fairly regularly for blu-rays. Imo the online service provided by Microsoft is much better, and the vast majority of games are multi-platform nowadays. There really aren't enough exclusives coming out in the remainder of this year to justify the outlay on a PS3 if you already have a 360 and PC.

On the other hand, if you really do see yourself playing through the exclusives in the PS3 back catalogue (and I think everyone ought to play through the Uncharted games and God of War 3), then I'd definitely say it's worth getting one.

A PS3 ended my PC gaming, Had a 360 for years but still played on PC as well. Got a PS3 & haven't gamed on my PC since.
Who'd have thought anything would have got me away from BF2 let alone a PS3.

there are a few great games on PS3, but with PC and xbox already, will you have time to use it.

i have PS360 and PC and i've not used my PS3 since Uncharted 3 came out as i don't have the time to game on all 3 systems..

It's each to their own really. If you have to ask the question, I'd say you don't need a PS3. I have all major consoles, but I spend 99% of my time playing on the Xbox 360. That's just my personal preference. I keep my PS3 for when there's a lack of 360 games I want, and I can then pick up some of the PS3 exclusives for a cheap price and play them then (inFamous is worth owning a PS3 for on it's own IMO).

As I said though, if you have to ask the question, you probably don't need a PS3. Wait until you feel you do need it.
