Hi,

I am looking to replace me slowly failing Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard (well it's lasted about 7 years and numerous PC changes).

I mainly use DreamWeaver, PhotoShop and the odd bit of gaming, so I need a keyboard that would be great for all of these. Could you please recommend any decent keyboards that will be great for the aforementioned? My budget is £80-£90.

Thanks in advance.

Ross

For that price I'd say the Qpad MK-50 would be a good shout if you don't want back lighting etc.

The sidewinder is great but the different key spacing was a deal breaker for me but the majority of users seem to get on fine with it!

Cheers guys.

I've been looking at the QPad MK-50 and 80 and the options are slightly confusing (this whole red, blue, brown and black cherry malarkey).

I'm slightly confused as to which to choose, as I don't game that often on the PC (once or twice a month) and the PC is mainly used for DreamWeaver and Photoshop.

Any of them are respectable switches, but other than blue is attempting to appeal to the gamers, I reckon.

Personally, I'm a bit of a pariah, as I sit here with my PS2-controlled e-machines keyboard :P

If you can, try it out in a store somewhere if you can. Get the feel for it.

Thanks again guys. I might pay a little extra and buy it from that big online retailer beginning with "A", and return it if it is no good for me.

Thanks again :D

Thanks again for the recommendations guys. I took delivery of a MK-85 today. I took the plunge on the MK-85, as it was only £15 more that the MK-80 on Amazon (it was a customer return one - "used like new", but it turned up sealed!).

It's taking a bit of time to get used to hearing the tapping of the keys again, after using a cheap keyboard all these years.

Thanks again!
