Im able to leave Sky due to issues with serious congestion in the evenings.

Both are the same price per month £26

But i can get O2 The Works as im a mobile customer for £10.50 which runs on the BE LLU.

What would you do?

Both offer the same speed. 6-7mbps.

BE all day long. BT ADSL are known for traffic shaping, throttling p2p, and having a 100GB download limit even though there are advertised as unlimited.

Also if you download too much data your DL speed will be capped for the whole month with BT!

Ive had both, and BE are way better, there support is also very very good on the forums.

O2 have traffic shaping, but are still okay.

If you're on Be* for long enough you can get a long time member discount if you renew with them :)

Depends if you're going to stay with them a while though.

I haven't had BT ADSL for years, but there have been one too many network issues with Be lately like the link to the XBL authentication servers down from late afternoon to the end of the day and only was really better the next morning. They blamed MS for releasing a slew of OS updates.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing I could have switched to BT ADSL and had 6 months free prior to Infinity.

Does FTTC RFS Date mean the date its available from? Will that be provided via BT?

It's the proposed date that OpenReach plan they'll be finished upgrading the Exchange by, and where the enabled cabinets will then be able to order. They could be delayed, but the date hopefully means you'll get FTTC sometime between Jul-Sept.

Even if your exchange get's done, if you happen to be on a Exchange Only line, or aren't on one of the cabs they fibre up, then you're probably out of luck. You seen any new cabs prop up?
