Speed camera van - first time meeting one.

The guy I had spent more time on general driving skills, no point telling everyone to drive slower, we all know what we were doing

One thing he said to remember and I still do, just something I had never thought of before, simple though. He said if take anything away remember this

I was expecting to be patronised, you could tell the ones who didn't care!

What did he tell you FFS?

This seems to be a typical I have just passed. Have I been caught speeding thread. Your tacho might have said 40 but you were most likely doing 35 tops. Most police officers are out to get the real speeders not the ones who are a couple of miles above the speed limit.

People are great around here for scamera vans, everyone always flashes to let you know there is one coming up.

They are always in same places around here aswell.

I'm going to bite, how exactly is it a scam? Given the following definition:

scam [skæm] Slang
n
a stratagem for gain; a swindle
vb scams, scamming, scammed
(tr) to swindle (someone) by means of a trick

They maybe annoying but scam, get real

Whoops must have got side tracked, isn't very exciting was just don't turn your wheels to point right if you are turning right at a junction, he said he was an emergency services guy and someone had and a van had hit them and instead of going forward cause of the wheels they were pushed into oncoming traffic, fatal

It is a criminal offence to flash another driver warning him that there is an officer with a mobile speed camera it is considered as "obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty"

If you do not receive a notice of intended prosecution within 14 days of the offence you should be ok.
