Hi guys, could somebody kindly spec me a web PC for my dad? Just been asked this yesterday.

Will be used for a lot of flash heavy sites and flash heavy gaming as well as Skyping. It's to replace an ageing Dell.

Won't be needing OS, HDD or ODD.

I'd like to have a SSD in the config as well (say the new Sandisk 120gb going for £70 at the mo). Thanks!

Both those setups will make good use of two RAM sticks as they have dual channel memory controllers, the AMD APU in particular will give better results with higher frequency RAM (1600Mhz+)
 
I would personally go for the AMD. I think for what you need it for it would perform better than the other intel builds that have been linked.
