Just for anyone who is still swallowing the the mainstream media portayal of them as freedom fighters against the dicator Assad, this should open your eyes. Led by Al Qaida, they are not freedom fighters just as the Libyan rebels weren't.

The media owners should be standing trial in the coming decades for their manipulation of the gullible masses for the political purposes of one small country in the Middle East who we are not allowed to talk about.

how do you know this wasn't a false flag operation carried out by the Syrian government to win favour of the UN/west to help fight the rebels?

Ok so the Evil Joo's are controling the worlds media, who are mere tools in their plan to replace stable regimes around the Joo Lair with hardline Islamic regimes who will almost certainly cause problems for Israel.

Okaaay...

Precisely why we should do nothing. We should have a prime directive like in Star Wars. They don't interfere with pre-warp civilisations because there is no chance of a threat from them. Syria is a pre-warp nation, i.e. it has no nukes, it can't actually harm us thus we should leave it well alone and let them sort out their own civil affairs, it's the only way for it to progress properly.

Considering the UN are essentially there to help the rebels by attempting to maintain a ceasefire, I'd say that this was carried out by the government under the guise of making it look like the rebels.

Star TREK ! How dare you confuse the two.

TBF, isn't that what we are doing? We haven't sent troops (yet) have we?

Israel cannot install pro-Israeli regimes in the Arab states so it is forced to pick from the lesser of many evils. Israel is seeking to crush the Shia axis (Assad's government being the middle link) to stifle any Iranian defense against Israeli invasion. You act like Assad has been good friends with Israel.

Israel just aims to throw that country into chaos. If Islamic fundamentalist take over, even better because they can drag more Western troops to fight for it if there are Al-Qaida type groups prevailing.

While I'm sceptical on the issue, it really wouldn't surprise me if it was true.

The women of Libya used to enjoy pretty good rights (compared to other Islamic nations) before, now we have more fundamentalist's in charge & things have gone down south.

Another civil war we should not get involved with.

Those who think this kind of thing is just "conspiracy theory claptrap" we have been toppling leaders around the globe for the last few hundred years - it's hardly outlandish to believe it still happens.

I find it most amusing when reporting on the Libyan rebels the term "freedom fighter" was used in our media - objectively they were a terrorist organisation which we supported.
