Ok, so here we go tonight. You end up winning one of the 18 £1m prizes on tonights lottery. It could be argued that £1m doesnt go far these days, so what would you do with your million?
 
I'd give 10k to post number 53 in this topic, then I'd go on a bloomin big holiday.

1m nothing to retire on, but you sure as hell can have a bit of fun with it.

@OP - 1 Million? I'd hire someone who knows what they are doing and get help investing it in a way that will ensure a good income for me and my family for a long, long time.
 
Sell flat, buy a house with some land so my gf can have her horse with us, holiday, wedding, new telly, and some training courses to improve my skillset for future work, as £1 mill isn't enough to retire on.

2 lucky dips and one line with personal dates.

Fair dinkum, just wondered if the housing market was particularly good in Sheffield or something
 
Not sure how feasible it would be, but myself, I'd try and take the money and emigrate to somewhere like Colorado or Wyoming. Failing that, I'd get a good sized 4-6 bedroom house with a good amount of land somewhere in the UK (Cornwall, Hampshire, Devon, Wiltshire or Berkshire most likely) and do a fair amount of travelling round the globe, still got a lot of places I want to see.
