Hey,

I don't really go out much in town, because it's ****. Unless it's suddenly got better in the past few years - I've only been back a few years, and have noticed a lot of the people I went to school with have migrated back too (presumably for free babysitting from their parents :))

I'm usually at the Tithe bar on a thursday night or something but most of my friends are in York/Newcastle - so I go out there instead... I suppose one person you may have heard of is Alex Cromarty(?) Was drummer in his band back in school...

The fact we all refer the southerners as dirty is quite amusing! I live with 3 or 4 other students from the south and they call us dirty northerners.
Apparently they have the upper hand because we're more poor than the south. :mad:

Yeah know Alex...and James Pepper, Bob Flemming and people, I think they are in the same age group? Do you know Tom Flanagan? Used to work with him.

Ah yes, was meant to be doing some drumming for Tom and Bob. I'll have to give him a shout and see if he still needs me.

Ooh. Middle aged whisky drinker who lives in Shields - you and I should have a whisky or two some time. Which pub do you normally drink in (if you go to the pub that is)?
