Diablo 3 - best class?

Hi any idea what the best class is in Diablo 3?

Played 1 & 2 years ago so not a complete noob :)

I have been reading around and see a a lot of people say the Barbarion or Hunter.
 
Play whatever appeals to you the most - they all work.

I tried the Barb first and though he's fun to play with all that kinetic energy behind his blows, I find the Wizard more fun. I'MMA FIRING MA LAZOR!
 
If anyone is saying you should go one of the other if if ore them. People are having fun playing all the classes.

Watch the reveal videos on the release site and make your own mind up IMO. Pick the one you like the look of most.

Just got a retail copy delivered today and it says I have the starter edition (not the standard one as on the box) :/

I've played Wizard, Demon Hunter and Monk up to around level 17 or so and find that the demon hunter puts out the most damage but is weak up close. Wizard is all round weak early levels but has just started getting more powerful and monk puts out decent damage and has good survivability. Cant say anything about barbs or witch doctors though. Also, my experience may be gear dependent since most of your damage comes from that.

OK thanks. I just tried a Demon Hunter, that seems pretty good so am going to try that for a bit.
 
Where did all the Diablo 3 thread police come from?

Does that mean that if as thread has official in front of it you can't post elsewhere. The Diablo thread was stared over 2 years ago. Maybe it needs a post released thread so we don't have to scan through 80+ pages of speculation.

I think it doesn't require a brain to figure out where to find the 'Last page' button, solving your problem of reading through 80+ pages.

You didnt have to click on the thread, if the only piece of advice your going to give the chap is hassle then why bother posting in the first place. :rolleyes: have one back I say !

Back on topic, there is no best class choose whatever appeals to you the most :).
 
I play Witch Doctor and loving it....they start off a bit slow, but later on some of the abilities like Acid Rain are amazing.....cant comment on the others.
 
What's with the whining, there is only 3-4 threads on Diablo. Hardly the end of the world? Think back to BF3's release and go whine about that instead.
Big official threads always end up being so big that it's a pain to keep on top of and not miss things...

On Topic mode...
Only got the trial version of the game currently but tried all the classes bar Wizard which my housemate has been playing.
Tried Witch Doctor first which was quite fun, imagine it would be a great one in co-op mode. Seemed to lack damage in the levels I played.
Barbarian was my second class to try, once you get cleave it's hiliarously fun. Smashing mobs away very quickly. Got a killstreak of 86 :D Having no ranged attacks would possibly get annoying vs some enemies though.
Demon Hunter seemed ok, some nice moves but like with the Witch Doctor didn't seem to do a huge amount of damage - granted I didn't manage to find a decent bow.
Monk was better than I was expecting, seemed fairly similar to Barbarian when I tried it, just less fun!
