No-one has the full PC retail unleaked with no intentional bugs PC version yet so thats not very accurate is it :rolleyes: console players hate Co-Op based games anyway which is what this is although it has an SP mode as well. I am not suggesting this is the best game ever made either but most of the console reviews focus on the co-op gameplay which they hate as it means no used copies so reviews go downwards.

If you like L4D style games set in RE2/RE3 3D levels then this is your game :D

If this game is total garbage then they have shipped 2m copies so far & its been selling well on Steam for the last few weeks so I am in good company then ;)

Mine unlocked yesterday but I have the retail version. Its the no2 game on Steam & no1 new full price release all day today so the servers are probably getting hammered right now as its a global launch in all regions!

it is dog**** avoid please dont try to swing the game to people it really is bad. what really does astonish me is the people that tested this game . its the purest console port . nothing remotely pc about it. this can be sometimes exceptable but in this case it isnt its one of the worst games currently available. avoid.

just cause its sold loads doesnt mean its good its sold loads cause of how its been marketed and cause it may have zombies in. 2/10 for game seriously.

the games called resident evil these sales are based on that alone.

DX11 last time I checked is not used on any consoles is it neither is the mouse+kb for improved aiming. Its not the best game ever made but its also not that bad either slightly above average is pretty fair but whatever its selling well on Steam so I guess a lot of people are buying it as perhaps it gives them something they are looking for in a game!!
 
Save your cash people, very short and linear single player and worthless co-op, it's just a direct port of the console version as with most capcom games on PC as of late with some dodgy DX11 stuff bolted on. Don't give lazy and greedy developers/publishers incentive to mug us even more in the future.

I don't care about console ports as long as I get to play the game. The game is not great at all but telling people to avoid is WAY over the top. I wish I never paid full price for it, but the game is alright. Another pre order like Skyrim that I wont fully play for months :)

seriously if you brought this full price id understand the defence but its really bad dont say it isnt.

To be honest, the ideas for this game are great (I do like the Lost Planet 2-style Co-op), but it's just a shame the execution isn't.

The game really is quite short on the campaign side, but the other multiplayer modes are fun enough.

The character models though, especially Leon and Claire in some situations are just atrocious. What the hell were they thinking.
 
Sales figures mean nothing. A lot of people went to see the film Battleship and that looked awful. How could you want to see it after the trailer?!

Think how stupid the average person is and then realise half the population is more stupid than that. I think it applies for this game as well!

errrr no, I am saying I have another pre-order like skyrim, ie a game I have pre-ordered and will not get around to playing the game for a few months. hehe. I dont think anygame can be compared to Skyrim, even though I have not played it fully yet. I did stick in an hour or so before going back to the game I was playing at the time. The only comparison I was making was that is was also a pre-order I made.

Not played my copy yet but from what i've seen, no, not like it at all, different sort of game altogether.

They should have spent the time remaking Resi II, it was by far the best of the series, survival horror doesn't get any better than that game.

Agree I love the 2nd, mind you the 1st remake on the gamecube was pretty awesome as well.

:( No, but i'm having the same problem so post if you find one.

Shame as it IS a good game otherwise, was originally disappointed that it wasn't resi as I know it but taken as a standalone game in its own right, its decent (apart from the ruddy random audio!).
