[ Video ] Top 10 Upcoming Most Anticipated MMO'S

I love MMOs as a lot of them require you to be sociable if you want to do the higher level dungeons/raids etc. but I can't recall one that's actually had any great success except WoW.

Tera had positive reviews but now it's been released no-one really speaks about it, you either play it or you don't.
SWtOR subscriptions are just plummeting tbh.

I'll keep an eye on them and hopefully there'll be one that brings some kind of innovation to the genre.

If there's an MMO where there's:

No grinding
No monthly fee
No reward for spending your entire life in it
Is entirely skill based
Is sociable

I'll get excited.

You mean like GW2?

The dynamic quests are as close as you'll come to no grinding. There's still a few "kill the boars" style quests, but they're few and far between and if there's other people around they all count.
No monthly fee, check.
There's always rewards for doing things that take time, so people that spend more time will always get better rewards, in GW2 they're purely aesthetic though, the gear isn't actually any better.
As above, everyone will have gear available with the same stats so it relies on skill rather than who's raided the most or grinded the most in PvP.
Find a good guild and any MMO is sociable.

I've been looking forward to Blade & soul more than any other MMo closely followed by Archeage. I watched a few of your B&S vids and the graphics looked stunning with really fast gameplay plus anything NcSoft are involved in usually works for me.

I'll obviously be playing GW2 but the franchise never quite felt like a proper MMo, hard to explain but I've not enjoyed many MMos since Aion and Lotro.

You are expecting SOE to deliver a good game?

Are you stupid or just being obtuse? If you took a moment to engage your brain you might notice that my post was in reply to the "JRPGs" comment.

Even though your point bears no real relevance to what I was saying, SWG was argueably the best sandbox MMO ever. Sure it went down the pan but they delivered a good game at one point.
