My Chinese mouse is broken..

Okay, so i bought a mouse from china and i got it 2 days ago. It was working great until yesterday, it stopped working but the light was still on, but the LED light for the DPI was off. I tryed to reconnect, update drivers etc but it didn't work. The only time it works is when i restart my computer. then it turns off after about 5 minutes. I have tryed it on all other computers in my house (6) and it does the same thing. Please help, thanks.

What is the make model of the mouse and how much did it cost? If it's a no-name cheapo i wouldn't be surprised it last only 2 days.

Not trying to be funny mate but the best thing you can do is bin it and dont buy anymore Chinese no-name junk.. cos that what it is. Sometimes when you cheap out you have to buy twice and probably spend more then just getting something half decent from the get go.

My wireless mouse and keyboard i got for £5 has been great glad i brought 4 of them while the offer was on.

I think a lot people like to pay a little more to buy a trusted brand, less likely to be break, better customer service and return polices. Not saying everything cheap is junk but you do run the risk of it breaking and getting that frustrated with the lack of customer service you end up buying the one you should have in the first place

You can try to contact the seller.. see what happens.. Then find out if it's worth sending back.

Ironically most of the best stuff is also made in China. But yes, best to avoid unknown brands, stick with the well known ones. Logitech G400 is a fantastic mouse.

I would be surprised if you can get your money back tbh, is it seriously worth the effort for 8 quid though? ...I would just chalk it up as a life lesson, buy cheap buy twice so to speak and move on.

My Chinese mouse is fine after nearly 3 years.
Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - made in China

It was 'cheap', at least compared to some mice costing nearly £100.
