Okay, so i bought a mouse from china and i got it 2 days ago. It was working great until yesterday, it stopped working but the light was still on, but the LED light for the DPI was off. I tryed to reconnect, update drivers etc but it didn't work. The only time it works is when i restart my computer. then it turns off after about 5 minutes. I have tryed it on all other computers in my house (6) and it does the same thing. Please help, thanks.

What is the make model of the mouse and how much did it cost? If it's a no-name cheapo i wouldn't be surprised it last only 2 days.
..

If you have an email i could email you the *no competitor mentions* link, but it's a 2400DPI 7D Sunsonny 7 Buttons Optical USB Gaming Mouse

*no competitor price hinting*

I think a lot people like to pay a little more to buy a trusted brand, less likely to be break, better customer service and return polices. Not saying everything cheap is junk but you do run the risk of it breaking and getting that frustrated with the lack of customer service you end up buying the one you should have in the first place :p

Ironically most of the best stuff is also made in China. But yes, best to avoid unknown brands, stick with the well known ones. Logitech G400 is a fantastic mouse.

I would be surprised if you can get your money back tbh, is it seriously worth the effort for 8 quid though? ...I would just chalk it up as a life lesson, buy cheap buy twice so to speak and move on.

My Chinese mouse is fine after nearly 3 years.
Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - made in China ;)
It was 'cheap', at least compared to some mice costing nearly £100.

i bought a 2400DPI ThunderTank Sidewinder 6Buttons Gaming Mouse from the bay, over a year ago now, its working perfectly fine, though it is sure to break now after i have posted this.
