The name's Bond. James Bond. Skyfall

I have to admit that Casino Royale is amongst my favourite Bond films,it breathed new life into something that was well past its sell by date.The Pierce Brosnan era was dire to say the least!!!
The film was also offered some more advertising for our British car manufacturers, Aston Martin(with the stunning DBS) and Jaguar were well represented also,Le Chiefre's black XJR,ideally suited to high speed villainy.
 
I really like Daniel Craig as Bond, didn't think QoS was that great a film though but Casino Royale was superb. I hope this new one is as good as that.
 
It would certainly be nice to see the James Bond that is a spy with occasional gadget use rather than the running around jumpy shooty Bond that Craig has been so far. The Bourne movies are awful in my opinion and the James Bond series shouldn't aim to copy them.

There is a few scenes in the trailer that look like the United Kingdom which is nice. I feel that 007 needs to go back its roots rather than go for this 'realistic' style that the Craig movies have both been.
 
**** trailer, wtf is the film about? "Some guys are coming to kill us, lets kill them 1st" Surely someone is plotting to take over the world!.... no bond villiam shown on screen either. I am dissapoint! :(

Good! There's nothing worse than the way trailers these days pretty much tell you the entire film!

Yep have to say i had my reservations when they announced he was taking over from Brosnan but after watching QoS and Casino Royale, i admit i like him as Bond...one of the better ones as for me no one comes close to Moore and Brosnan as Bonds.

Have to say i loved QoS and didnt enjoy Casino Royale at all.

I agree about Daniel Craig but I do feel he's benefitted from a revamp in the Bond films with Casino Royale.

I thought QoS was rubbish personally, it took me at least two watches to work it out. Such a shame as Casino Royale, as you rightly say, was superb.

The trailer for Skyfall looks good. :)

I hated QoS.

The big issue for me was the lack of a credible bad guy. Every Bond movie needs a villain with an evil plot. The whole Quantum thing was fine but they just wanted to charge people for water in some tin-pot country? Meh

If you want to replace Spectre then fine, but you need to have some credible Spectre agents.
 
Daniel Craig has this ability to ruin films for me. The recent Bond films and the rubbish remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to name a few :(
