Corsair H100 Fan control.

Don't you have to connect the fans to the Waterblock/pump unit to get control functions of the fans? Or to compatible motherboard headers if you want motherboard voltage control.

If the fans are connected to the H100, it will adjust the temps based on coolant temperature.

You can't monitor the fans speeds without the corsair link box of tricks. If you have connected the only 3 pin coming out of the pump to the motherboard and its reporting the fan speed as 2600 thats the pump speed.

Mine is quiet on stage 1, stage 3 its pretty loud however.

Thats what i was saying, if the Op bought fans that could be controlled, he could plug them into the mobo fan headers like i do and control them via bios.

This!

If you want to stick with watercooling, then maybe consider some of the OcUK watercooling kits?

Either that or you could get a high end air cooler.

Firstly, I'd suggest trying the zalman fan mate :)

Thanks for all the posts lads. I've seriously thinking about refunding this back to reseller. Gonna box it and post in couple of days. Erm,can you drop me a link for those kits please?
Talking about temps, Silver Arrow was better in temps and not that loud.

The 2.6k is the pump speed.

If you buy a h-series you probably want to replace the fans for quieter ones.

I see. Looks like it cannot be changed to lower like 1600.Shame tbh, I will need to spend some extra for fans. Now the only question which ones for H100 will be good? I've checked 120mm prices, looks like for decent ones I will need to spend around 15 quid each. Thanks lads for helping btw :)

Sounds like its wired up wrong, have you plugged the H100 fans into the motherboard or into the controller lol

Just to clarify the settings on the H100 block aren't what you would expect really.
The pump still regulates the fan speeds but the different levels 1, 2, 3. enable the fans to run at different max speeds.

On the lowest setting with 2 GT's my H100 is pretty quiet and gets louder on the highest setting, with the stock fans you really wont notice much difference in sound between the different settings.

If you can't alter the the fan speed via the button on the pump then its faulty,my first two did this and they got replaced no questions asked. The one i have installed can be controlled by the button or software, also via fan profile in the bios, hope this helps
