Don't you have to connect the fans to the CPU block unit to get control functions of the fans?
Don't you have to connect the fans to the Waterblock/pump unit to get control functions of the fans? Or to compatible motherboard headers if you want motherboard voltage control.
In that case I will refund H100 as it is way too loud :/ what waste of money![]()
If the fans are connected to the H100, it will adjust the temps based on coolant temperature.
You can't monitor the fans speeds without the corsair link box of tricks. If you have connected the only 3 pin coming out of the pump to the motherboard and its reporting the fan speed as 2600 thats the pump speed.
Mine is quiet on stage 1, stage 3 its pretty loud however.
If you want to stick with watercooling, then maybe consider some of the OcUK watercooling kits?
Either that or you could get a high end air cooler.
Firstly, I'd suggest trying the zalman fan mate![]()
The 2.6k is the pump speed.
If you buy a h-series you probably want to replace the fans for quieter ones.
Right, in this case which fans for H100 are the best?
Sounds like its wired up wrong, have you plugged the H100 fans into the motherboard or into the controller lol
Thanks for all the posts lads. I've seriously thinking about refunding this back to reseller. Gonna box it and post in couple of days. Erm,can you drop me a link for those kits please?
Talking about temps, Silver Arrow was better in temps and not that loud.
