I'm after a 24" and 22" LCD/LED - the biggest of which should have a dvd combo thingy.

Not after anything massively special - they're only to go in kitchen/bedroom - as cheap as possible, so long as they're not terrible... any ideas?

Cheap as possible is always good, although buy heap buy twice is an adage i firmly believe in! An indication of budget would help ;)

Any of last years Samsung or panasonics would be a good bet... Would she mind 2nd hand (to keep costs down) or does it have to be new?

My dad recently got a LOGIK L24DVDB21. They cost ~£150, are 1920x1080 res, 24in, 1xHDMI input, built in freeview, built in DVD player.

He is really happy with it.

Here is a rather positive review for it on Cnet.

Sorry, should've been more specific... It doesn't need to have an HD tuner in it, is what I meant. HD ready is fine, though I suppose if it is fullHD (out of the box) then that's a bonus.

Last year's models are fine - They would have to be new.
I guess I just don't want a bush or whatever. LG any good?
