Recently I opened a thread regarding what GPU to get and many people suggested that the 7850 was a great deal. After looking at reviews and that I have also got to agree.

Although, I have one issue. What 'brand' should I get? I am torn between the Sapphire or the HIS

HIS:

Sapphire:

What would be better overall? I'm currently using the Sapphire HD 5770 and have done for years with 0 problems so I am leaning towards Sapphire but I am keen to hear the opinons of the overclockers community :P

Thanks in advance

My preference would lean towards the Sapphire because it has a beefier cooler. The HIS one was £180 here last week, so may be worth waiting for Wednesday and seeing what appears in the "This Week Only" deals. 7850's are great cards, but I wouldn't pay £200 for one.

Thanks. I wouldent be able to order for a few more days any ways but wanted to get a nice build planned in my head. Because of the dual fans couldent the Sapphire make a little more noise than the HIS? I don't want it sounding like a jet plane:P

Because the Sapphire's run slightly cooler, you can set a manual fan profile and turn the noise down to however quiet you need it. Most reviews say the Sapphire is very quiet to start with.

I have the sapphire OC edition and it's very quiet.
