Hey. Thanks once again for reading the thread^^
I am stuck between two cards. Both of which are just about the same price its just a case of AMD V NVIDIA.
The cards in question are the AMD Sapphire HD 7850 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 (or something round the same price as the 7850). Before I go on I should also note that I have absolutely no intrest in overclocking.
Both cards perform fairly close to each other which makes the choice hard.
The benchmark I looked at most is this one:http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=518
As you can see they perform pretty equally however, the GTX 570 does have several games where its FPS is higher. This is all very well but if you look at the power consumption and the tempeture the GTX 570 can reach 87 under load, compared to the 65 on the 7850.
Is the 10 FPS increase or so worth the extra amount of heat piled on? Plus the extra power needed? I must also add that the Nvidia card would go very well with my system (green leds, black case) but thats just a very minor thing
