What to do close to M25 J12?

Hi

So next week I have a meeting near Heathrow which I will be getting the train to, then I am heading off to Cornwall for the weekend... but will be picked up at a convenient location about 2h30m after my meeting. My question is, where can I hang around as close to J12 with something to do for the few hours? Unfortunately there do not seem to be any motorway services.

Thorpe Park is very close to Junction 12 if I remember correctly...

Ha yeah... I saw that but I think Thorpe park on my own is a bit much. Also, this will be between about 7PM and 9:30PM.

Come to my house, or my nan's...joking aside, there's not a great deal to do. Lots of good curry places around that area I guess as there's a huge asian community in Hounslow and the surrounding area.

Well I would personally go find a cafe to sit in and read a paper or something. That's as exciting as it gets around there

The burgers are acceptable, but everything else is dreadful and overpriced. I'd expect better from a burger van. At least, if you're in that area, you could go to Pizza Hut. Nandos is also dire.

I think I'd be heading into Egham rather than Hounslow or St Aines on Thames.

Either that or get a cab to Windsor if you're feeling a bit more adventurous..

dirtychinchilla is correct though. Spur and Nandos are ***** but there isn't much going on at J12.
