The soldiers freed their compatriots and the tanker. The Russian Navy Commandos moved the pirates back to their own (pirate) ship, searched the pirate ship for weapons and explosives, and then they left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.

The commandos sank the pirate ship along with the pirates and without any court proceedings, lawyers etc. That is, they used the anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries where the captain of the rescuing ship has the right to decide what to do with the pirates. Usually, they were hung.

I would think from now on, Russian ships will not be targets for Somalia pirates.

We just cloth and feed them and give them a free ride back to the mainland.

Courts over there are useless and we have next to no jurisdiction, so they spend a few days in a cell, then it's back out to sea :/

There's no evidence the pirates were on the ship that was destroyed, even from the transcript they demanded a doctor for the wounded pirate. They wouldn't do that if they were just going to kill him.
 

Was supposed to be a 30 second advert, also on my channel, but I had so much excess footage that i made this. Intended to be in the style of Ruth Hogben.

The song that builds up at about 3m30s is that one of the Daft Punk Tron ones, or is it one ive heard on a perfume advert?

Funnily enough, I did consider using a score from TRON, but nope it isn't. The music is two different tracks that I've mixed into one. Both are by DJ, Matthew Stone.
