How did your username come about?

Gamertag 2 years before Channel 4 thought it would be cool to name a TV station E4.

its "2" cos i lost the pw/email address (freeserve?!) to Efour and im still too scared to ask to get it changed.

Boring I'm afraid, just my initials.
Also use ajf350d which came about as I have a Canon 350D and I first used it to register on a photo forum.

I'm full of imagination :p

That's odd. There was definitely a regular member called Mork. He had a Mork & Mindy sig for years!

morkfromork? They don't have a Mork & Mindy signature now though and I can't remember what they used to have but they seem to be the only user called mork with more than half a dozen posts.

If you pronounce alx as al-x it sounds like alex :)

Or if you pronounce it as it's written you get alcks. :p

For me it's easiest just to link back to an old post. My username didn't mean much then and still doesn't now.

My name came from the first name of my first pet..... Neopet that is! :D

I used to be called The_Doc but soooooooooooooooooooooo many people used that name that I decided to use Casdawer plus it's very easy to type on the keyboard as the letters are all bunched together!

I've been Halk for years, it comes from me naming characters in games after Halk the Barbarian from Dungeon Master in the 80s - so when I was playing online I used Halk. I didn't use it when I was playing games online initially, I don't think I started using Halk until maybe the early 90s. (I found out recently the game designers based the character on Conan the Barbarian).

At some point in a name change thread I asked for "The" to be added. I'm not sure why, I think it makes me look a bit pretentious.

You know, I always thought it supposed to be a Dolan duck equivalent of The Hulk. :p

Mine, uh, well.
My second name is Crabb, so this username seemed perfect when I was 11 years old.
Since Spongebob squarepants got popular everyone seems to think it's to do with that though :(

I was thirsty, desperate to stop, but doing so would be the end. After the plane came down killing everyone on board, I thought I was lucky. However, Finding myself in the middle of the Sahara desert with little water and two broken nails, I realised death would have been the better option.

I fell to my knees, slowley realising my fate had arrived. He held my hand and pointed far into the distance. "what?", I murmured. "look", he echoed. "I see nothing", I growled, "nothing but sand, sand and EndlessSky"

"EndlessSky, EndlessSky! What a great user name for a computer based Internet forum", I thought as I died.

Anyway, quite straight forward really.

In the early days on internet gaming, I called my KornKiller... you know.. because it sounded dangerous lol. (Was playing "Descent" at the time, but was in other games as well: Doom etc))

I think I happened on someone else with it, so I changed it to Cougar. Not surprisingly, that wasn't unique enough. A friend happened to use the name Speedy.... but he stopped playing games, and as mentioned.. the name wasn't unique enough, so I robbed him of his username, and stuck it onto mine, because generally speaking I was very quick at the time. So.. Speedycougar came about.

That name lasted into TFC, where I think I held the 3rd place for points/score for TFC on the clanbase for a while. Then at some point I decided that Speedycougar, either resulted in me being called Speedy or Cougar, and it sounded a little childish... so I simply shortened it to Scougar. I have been using the various names for over 16 years now.

There you go... a long boring tale, with no mediation involved.

Although my alternate which I started actually describes me pretty well. MajorFaff.
