Halo Elite Laser Therapy for Hair

It really causes no issue to me having thinning hair / going bald. However, I can understand why it bothers some people, as some people do feel affected by it owing to numerous reasons, vanity/self confidence/many other reasons. I'd never turn my nose up at people that do it - but it would be the last thing I'd waste my money on. :)

Hope it works out for you. :)

So it sounds like they basically dye your hair where it's faint (some appalling spelling mistakes in this thread btw) and then rejoice when it's darkened.

My understanding is it promotes conditions so your hair regrows naturally, by either blocking the DHT affect with propecia, or apparently controlling blood flow to the areas with minoxidle. If some hair growth doesn't exist in the area, the chances are theres nothing you can do about it besides implants.

Don't see any problem doing it, some people look better bald than others. On the other hand I have a bit of a widows peak, don't like it, but the cost and effort to do anything about it doesn't outweigh the benefits for me personally. On the other hand, if 5 minutes with a lazer comb oncce a year worked, sign me up!

I guess you could say the same about weight training / building yourself up. Many do it because they feel better, not only from a healthy point of view, but because it also makes them look better thus helping their confidence/Vanity etc.

Exactly - I don't get the vanity thing of bodybuilding either. However, it does make people feel better and helps boost confidence etc... So can't take that away from them. :)

If I was going bald at say 50, I wouldnt mind. The bit that annoys me is that I was thin, weedy spotty etc for a lot of my teens, I hit 20 and it all improved...now at 25 its shooting back at the sides....5 years of "being happy" really annoys me.

The only solution to stop hair loss which is working for 80% of all poeple who tried is:

http://www.belgraviacentre.com/

I paid £865 for a year treatment, after 3.5 months of daily usage, 1ml of Minoxidil liquid in the morning, and 1ml of Minoxidil an hour before bed time.

The results are amazing, I had light hair in the front area of my head, now its dark, and thick, full of hair :)

very happy so far withthe results.

One bad thing about this: You have to keep on doing this 4ever.

You can buy generic, unbranded minoxidil (which is exactly the same) for about £100/year. £865 is insane.

OK nearly six months on and theres very little difference , I'm still bald and still have an island. I used this together with alpecin caffeine shampoo and I do think its prevented it from getting worse.

One thing I wasn't impressed with was that they did not mention about taking these herbal tablets. There's not really any side effects but it does contain Saw Palmetto which acts as a natural DHT blocker. I wasn't comfortable taking these so my results probably could have been better.

I may buy my own little machine if eBay to try and keep what I have left.

I will probably eventually go bald.

I am thinning on top; and eventually I will have an island of scalp, with hair around it and then go on to becoming almost bald, with a 'tonsure' hair growth pattern as I reach my 40s-50s I think.

Having read into it, it's to do with hormones, blood flow to the scalp, follicle health and genes as well. I have very thick hair on the back of my head, fairly thick to the front and sides but around my 'crown' I am thinning.

As it gets worse, I'm going to adopt a shorter hair cut, so I will probably, eventually just keep a low maintenance 'bald' hair cut and I anticipate this will be the case from my 40s.

It is unlikely that I will go for any baldness treatment.

If you want to treat hairloss either use finasteride/dutasteride/minoxodil or get a hair transplant.

Anything else and you are just mugging yourself.

Ask yourself one question:
Why are there rich bald men?

Answer: Because no matter the amount of money you spend, you will still be bald. There is no cure.

Bald is beautiful.

That logic doesn't really hold because you also have rich people with bad teeth, weight problems, hair but awful hair (Bob Geldoff) etc.

Maybe someone people just don't care.

What have you guy's heard about the HIS hair scalp pigmentation thing? - some of the photo's look pretty impressive - pending on how much people want to have "hair" or just "not look bald".

Isn't that that thing where they tattoo hair on to your head?
Yeah, I thought it sounded a bit excessive myself.

But then again, all hair treatments for baldness are excessive (compared to say shaving it off, which is what I do).

Some of the results are pretty good I have to admit - but only works with a shaved head (obviously lol).
