So im interested in a H2O cpu cooler but unsure which to get. I have my eye on this

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK H²Flo Extreme Liquid Dual Fan CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/1155/1156/775/AM2/AM3) £43.98
Total : £53.88 (includes shipping : £8.25).

And then putting 2 of these on it

YOUR BASKET
1 x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM - 3 Pin £19.98
Total : £22.96 (includes shipping : £2.48).

The problem is I just cant make my mind up. I like the cooler and fans, but would it be better to get a well known vendor cooler like Corsair or Antec?

Got £100 burning a hole in my pocket if that helps. Any ideas guys?

if it were me id get the 1450 rpm fan, not the 1850rpm one

simply because it is a lot quieter for not much loss :)

1150 maybe?

If you have the space, something like a phantek high end air cooler should give you lower temps and silence.

If you have £100, then maybe consider going for a full watercooling kit, althought this will only be worth the money if you plan on adding to it later :)

I would go full water, if i was comfortable mate, i just have no idea how to fit it and service it. No idea at all.

I looked at that, my case has a cut out at the top for a 240mm rad, but i heard fans are crazy loud. If i could id get it with the 2 scythes but just out of reach :(

Stock fans are not that loud, I've only really heard them when running PRime or Heaven. yes when they go full throttle they do sounds loud (like at start up or when I feel crazy) but then they are 2k+ rpm fans shifting crazy air.

I am now replacing them, but to be honest it's just silly money I could easily live with the stock as above they are not that loud. (think the GPUs are louder but will find out when I change them)

Good cooling though even today when house was 26 I was still getting 34 ish.

I typically stay within an 8-10 degree delta of house with it (twin GPUs below so a tonne of heat coming up.)
