What alloy finish should I go for?

Wish i was in a Ramen Shop Counter
Refurbishing the wheels in 2 weeks' time and notice that I get to choose any finish I want.

The choices are in this Link

Obviously sticking will standard manufacturer finish is the safe bet but I am thinking the Satin Matt Black would look quite good?



Thoughts?

Black will make your tyres look brown. White will forever look dirty unless you clean them every 2 minutes.

It looks good in the original colour, I'd stick with that!
 
Smoked Chrome or Black Chrome looks quite good.

I've ruled out white, black or gold though. It'll be either standard OEM or slightly darker chrome, gun metal or Satin Matt Black, that kind of thing.

I just can't make my mind up!
 
Satin matt black is much darker in reality than it is on the sites photos. It's the finish I went for on my Yaris and I used the Nottingham version of that store. It looks like the below in real life so might help you choose.

Personally I think the only "normal" colours that will look good against the black paint are white, gun metal, or black chrome. Anthracite will just look dirty, and black will just look lost on a black car.

I'm a big fan of white on black cars but I accept they are hard to keep clean though I do think the black chrome could look quite good on yours. You really want to get down and ask to see the finishes in the flesh, as they can look quite to the photos.

Thanks for that, and that photo changed my mind about the satin matt black! it's much darker than I thought. May be dark chrome would be a better choice.

I am still not sure about white wheels though....any scratch on it will show up like a sore thumb.
 
Gun metal, or white. Black / dark alloys look best when contrasting against the paint work' on yours' with the size of the wheels you'd be hard pushed to notice you had alloys at all.
 
Ok, after looking through 60 pages in a thread on different rims on Yaris's, I have come to the conclusion that:

1 - White 3 door Yaris is cool !
2 - I want angel eyes + Xenons in mine
3 - Most third party rims on Yaris sucks donkey's arse, this really isn't a car that can pull off non-OEM rims.
4 - Black rims on black Yaris doesn't really work.
5 - I am coming round to the idea of white rims...
6 - OEM Silver still look best !
