iPhone 5 panel leaked.

well they've managed it before with other products, so they should be able to do it again.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing "wrong" with it, but i can't help but feel they could have tried a little harder. If in fact this design is true...

Don't know why you guys are complaining really. Look at your cars. You could make the same argument that they look roughly the same as their previous generations.

The home button has to stay, obviously. The camera needs to stay in the middle. What do you expect them to change...?

I'd say that's about the right size. I've posted before that I can never decide if 4.3" is too big. 3.5" is now too small though. The bezel looks thinner so the overall size might not be all that different.

The iPhone 5, also known at this point as The New iPhone, has been shown here to be working with a 3.95-inch display and are apparently identical to what the next iPod touch will be working with as well

I won't really care if the phone looks the same (I want a slightly larger phone anyway). It's a great looking phone, though having no changes for 3 generations is slightly boring.. I'm no designer so I can't suggest what to do or what I would want changed.

I like the glass back as it looks nice but on the other hand adds weight compared to plastic and well it can scratch and shatter easily I presume.

Isn't the iPhone a pretty heavy and thick phone compared to new samsung ones? It does have that feeling though that it's well made.

Thats an ipod touch not iphone casing...
This....surely if it was an iPhone it would have a slot for an ear-piece towards the top?
We know it is. The article explains that both of these two devices will be virtually identical in that respect, as you'd expect them to be.

Not at all, the thickness is consistent, whereas the Samsung phones tend to have protrusions. On averages, they work out the same (though the iPhone is obviously a bit nicer in the pocket because of its design).

After owning a Desire HD, I have to say that for the average hand, 4.3" is a tad big. It's virtually impossible to reach the edge of the display with a single hand. 4" provides the best balance in this respect.

I went for a HTC One X after 2 years with an iPhone 4 loved the screen but I'm now back to a 4s.. If apple make the screen bigger it would be my perfect handset
